released as two double 7" sets artworked by graham lambkin on the fisheye distro label, sadly the long-promised boxes never materialised. but there was an edition of all 4 records that came with instructions on how to make your own. very d.i.y.

another fine record from fourth dimension, featuring the first-rate collaboration between simon wickham-smith and richard youngs. such instruments as thai harp, electric guitar and bolivian flute were used in the recording, but i challenge you to pick them out. instead your ears are pleasured by the sighing of angels, albeit angels that work in some kind of industrial plant.
i don't think i've ever heard a richard youngs album that i haven't loved, and this is no exception. they always make me feel so calm for some reason, even though many of the sounds are quite unsettling. maybe it's his use of repetition or maybe it's the spacey atmosphere he creates, rather like john clyde-evans.

not sure what the thread is that ties these songs together, other than they are recent likes. perhaps you can discern something? some are new discoveries, and some are old.
