kjetil d brandsdal | kdb

as well as breathtaking fjords and beautiful ladies, among certain circles norway is known for its noise. this isn't noise as in the processed japanese stuff - this is the more pastoral new zealand stuff, more drone than noise really. and kjetil d brandsdal is one of its most prolific activists, recording under his own name, variations of his name, plus numerous other monikers, mostly famously in the band noxagt.

here is his second album. i'll be posting a load more of his stuff in the near future.

lp released on his own "kdb" label in 1996.

geologically, a fjord or fiord is a long, narrow inlet with steep sides, created in a valley carved by glacial activity.

i have the 'Fibo-Trespo' - 43 Minutes Of Improvised Music cassette [his alias] from 1996, if you're interested?
