smashing pumpkins are one of those bands that round my way it's never been particularly cool to like. their drummer plays like he has dead weights attached to his arms. their songs scream alterna-rock. they appeal to jocks. billy corgan is an arse.but i have a softspot for a fair number of their earlier songs, many of which are on this live bootleg from a chicago gig in august 1993.
