i don't think i've ever heard a richard youngs album that i haven't loved, and this is no exception. they always make me feel so calm for some reason, even though many of the sounds are quite unsettling. maybe it's his use of repetition or maybe it's the spacey atmosphere he creates, rather like john clyde-evans.tape released by chocolate monk in 1994.
