the second ep in the trilogy, the most exciting thing for me about the recording of this (apart from the songs themselves) was using my new hartke bass stack. i miss it. also, we were recording in a studio/rehearsal complex that had an inhouse chef who made the most amazing sandwiches. i think you can hear the joy of those sandwiches in the recording.i should mention that like most of the other stuff, this was engineered and produced by graham dominy, a really top bloke whose enthusiasm and support was endlessly validated for a band who constantly second-guessed themselves.
