google doesn't reveal much about navigator and they made few waves when they were around, but fortunately we went to university together so i took notice when they released a few singles and this one, unassuming album. over those releases they graduated from sombre but noisy slo-core to a much more minimal style, all hushed whispers and barely plucked guitars. think a blend of movietone, bark psychosis and perhaps recent uploads thela. sounds good to me.released by swarffinger in 1998.
