rosa mota | drag for a drag

i vaguely recall seeing rosa mota in bath at the hub, supporting someone or other. my chief impression of the gig is one word: dreadlocks. no idea if someone in the band had dreadlocks or what, who knows. anyway this was their debut and they got progressively better but never achieved that all-important 'breakthrough', depite production from robin proper-sheppard and later steve albini. worth a listen for me chiefly for the flute parts on 'are we having fun yet?'.
